Don Shire Ministries relies on financial support from those who share our vision of sharing God's love around the world. We coordinate mission trips to several countries each year. Along with sharing the gospel message, we build orphanages, churches and schools. We provide for water wells where the need is desperate. We also help feed and clothe those in need. Current Ministry Needs
1. Purchase of “Our House of Hope” Guest House which will support and expand our ministry in Haiti. When we first looked at this guest house, we hoped it would service both Jehovah Rapha House orphanage for special needs AND also continue to function as a guest house. Unfortunately, the Haitian government is not allowing the two to be under the same roof. HOWEVER, this guest house is a home to mission teams throughout the year. Its income will provide not only for its own needs but will also greatly help to subsidize the cost of our other ministries in Haiti. Many of the children in our Haiti homes are young, and Don has been praying for God’s leading as he ages. He has been concerned about what will happen in future years when he is not raising funds. The purchase of this guest house will be a great benefit for decades to come when Don can no longer be fundraising! It will also provide in the near future a great revenue source to help purchase a permanent home for Jehovah Rapha House. 100% of your designated gift will go to this fund.
2. MONTHLY FINANCIAL SUPPORT: Concert income does not even meet 30% of our yearly need. We depend on monthly gifts to help care for the widows and orphans, send us to the mission field and to supplement the offerings from concerts in churches that could not otherwise afford to host an evangelistic concert. Please pray about helping us with a repeating monthly gift. All donations are tax deductible.
3. PRAYER SUPPORT! We believe that God answers KNEE MAIL!
4. SPONSOR OUR ORPHANS AND WIDOWS: We currently support almost 600 orphans and widows in India, Haiti, and Honduras. In India the average cost is $35 per child in our orphanages and per woman in the widow’s homes. In India, we are also placing children in the homes of pastors as we find sponsors at $50 per month. 5. BENEVOLENT FUND: As we travel to other countries we come across many needs, some of them desperate. It is so frustrating when we have no funds available to help. We tithe a portion of our monthly contributions to the Benevolent Fund. We will also put 100% of your designated gift into this fund. Please be certain to send a note with your contribution that it is for this fund.
